About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced and highly effective Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator to join a key delivery programme. This is not a technical or IT-focused project management role. Instead, we are looking for a delivery-focused professional who can bring together multiple work streams, manage dependencies, maintain momentum, and ensure successful delivery against an established plan.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator and relationship builder who can engage with a wide range of stakeholders, ask the right questions, challenge constructively, and keep teams aligned on priorities and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive delivery against an existing project plan, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate and align multiple work streams, identifying risks, dependencies and potential blockers.
• Maintain project momentum by tracking progress and holding stakeholders accountable for actions and deliverables.
• Facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
• Challenge constructively where required, driving decisions and actions forward.
• Monitor delivery progress, assess impacts on timelines and re-plan where necessary.
• Ensure clear ownership of actions, deliverables and deadlines across the project.
• Build strong relationships across various stakeholder groups, creating collaboration and consensus.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as an established Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator.
• Strong track record of delivering projects against agreed plans, milestones and deadlines.
• Experience managing cross-functional work streams and complex dependencies.
• Demonstrable ability to monitor progress, identify risks and proactively drive solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience holding individuals and teams accountable while maintaining positive working relationships.
• Competence with standard project management tools, particularly MS Project.
