The Role – Youth Mentor

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Mentor to join its vibrant and supportive all-through SEMH provision in Bromley. This Youth Mentor role involves providing focused 1:1 mentoring to pupils, helping them build resilience, manage their emotions, stay engaged in learning, and achieve personal and academic growth.

The ideal Youth Mentor will have at least one year’s experience in an educational or youth-focused setting, be skilled at forming trusting and positive relationships with young people, offer consistent and reflective support, and contribute to a calm, nurturing, and structured environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Youth Mentor who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

The School – Youth Mentor

The school, located in Bromley, offers Key Stage 1 to 5 provision for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It provides both boys and girls with a valuable opportunity to specialise in vocational subject areas within a safe and nurturing learning environment. The school aims to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and resilience that supports students in growing into purposeful young adults who are able to contribute positively to society.
