As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with children who have SEN, helping them to achieve their targets and supporting their development in a primary school setting. You'll need to be adaptable, empathetic, and committed to providing an inclusive environment for a child with ASD, ADHD, Non-Verbal needs, and more.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Support children with SEN in achieving their learning and developmental goals.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Work closely with other teachers and professionals to create tailored learning plans.
Provide direct support to children with high needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal communication needs.

Key Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN.
A passion for working inclusively with children with additional needs, especially ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A nurturing and patient approach to supporting children's unique needs.
DBS Check required (We can assist with this).
