We are working with a number of specialist SEN schools across East Kent who are beginning their recruitment for KS1 and KS2 teachers ahead of the September 2026 academic year. These settings support pupils with additional needs including SEMH, Autism (ASC), ADHD, and associated learning needs

The Role

Responsibilities typically include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons adapted to pupils’ individual needs
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASC, ADHD, and additional learning needs
  • Using creative and differentiated teaching approaches to improve engagement
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, and therapists
  • Supporting pupils' academic progress alongside social and emotional development
