Protocol Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Erith, supporting children and young people with Autism (ASD) and additional complex needs, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join the team.

Do you have experience supporting children with SEND, Autism or additional needs? Maybe you’ve worked in schools, care, youth work, or even supported a family member or friend with Autism. If so, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is perfect for someone patient, resilient and genuinely passionate about making a difference in SEND education.

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience supporting children or young people with ASD / Autism and SEND needs
  • A calm, nurturing and proactive approach
  • Someone passionate about helping pupils feel safe, supported and understood
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Personal experience supporting someone with Autism is highly desirable
What you’ll be doing :
  • Supporting pupils in and out of the classroom
  • Helping children regulate emotions and engage with learning
  • Building positive, trusting relationships
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to support pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
