Job Summary
We are looking for a Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutor and Teacher to support pupils and students ranging from KS1 to KS5, by delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and report on lessons, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
- Support a SEND team to provide continuous support around the child.
- Participate in CPD and employee mentoring via the TES CPD suite and access to professional mentors.
- Engage in community and company events for knowledge sharing and resource development.
- Participate in a referral programme and get rewarded for successful tutor referrals.
- Work with schools and local authorities to transform lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
- 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a holistic, trauma‑informed manner.
- Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
- Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
- Qualified to work in the UK; must be based in the UK, even for remote/online roles.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
Maidstone, Kent. £28‑£35 per hour (contract).
