What you will do:

• Provide comprehensive support to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and assistance needed to care for children
• Conduct assessments and develop plans that align with the best interests of the child, setting goals for their future
• Collaborate with a range of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and intervention
• Organise and lead training sessions for foster carers, helping them to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to legal and organisational guidelines

Requirements for this role are:

• A degree or equivalent in social work ensuring you have the foundation and theoretical understanding required
• Current registration with Social Work England to practice legally and ethically
• Significant frontline experience in Social Services working as a Qualified Social Worker supporting families and children in need
