The Cancer Psychological ServiceA new small regional service for patients and their families, hosted by Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, which started in 2024. The team consists of two clinical psychologists, a counsellor, an assistant psychologist and trainees, and offers a friendly, supportive working environment committed to delivering high‑quality compassionate patient care.
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust provides general hospital services and specialist care to around 600,000 residents in West Kent and East Sussex, with a dedicated and diverse team of over 8,000 staff and specialised cancer services to over two million people through the Kent Oncology Centre. Fordcombe Hospital, near Tunbridge Wells, became part of the Trust in October 2024.
Role OverviewThis Administrator role will be based at Maidstone Hospital and will be responsible for providing an efficient and supportive administrative service to patients and colleagues. You will manage the general administrative running of the team, handle patient contact to arrange appointments and respond to queries, undertake a wide range of varied administrative tasks, and develop processes and protocols.

Additional InformationAppointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check at Standard Level (Enhanced level includes regulated checks against vulnerable adults and children).
