Hospital Porter

We have a vacancy for a Environmental Service Technician/Hospital Porter within our Field Services team. Field Services ensure our customers receive a top level service and ensure we continue to up-hold our high standards.

This role will be based in a hospital healthcare environment and have a main focus of moving healthcare waste throughout the hospital.

What will your role involve

• Portering of large 770L and 1100L wheelie bins from waste rooms to place of disposal and back on a daily basis.
• Cleaning of large wheeled 770L domestic and recycling bins.
• Supporting the contract on site where necessary with project specific duties
• Collection and distribution of our own reusable sharps containers on a weekly basis.
• Supportive in waste segregation bin bag colour coding.
• Adhere to health and safety processes and procedures

• Have an understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team.
• Have ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks such as moving bulk containers
• Flexibility for a range of hours
