Buyer - Edenbridge

You must have full UK right to work without sponsorship. We're looking for candidates within an easy commute of Edenbridge, with hybrid working available.

We're looking for a proactive Buyer to take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your background could be in Purchasing, Supply Planning, Materials, Inventory or Supply Chain, what matters is strong supplier engagement, commercial awareness and a track record of improving availability, performance and service.

• Raise, manage and expedite purchase orders.
• Build strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery, quality and invoice issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive service improvements.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial agreements.
• Maintain inventory levels while managing stock value.
• Produce purchasing and performance reports using Excel.
• Maintain accurate supplier and product data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers.

• Experience with in Purchasing, Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain or planning.
• Background in manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational environment.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Business Central advantageous).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills.
