Mechanical Supervisor

Are you an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in Facilities Management and building maintenance?

A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in Kent for an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension. You'll lead a small engineering team and oversee planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a secure estate.

The Role As the Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll:
 
Supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance operations.
Lead and allocate workloads to engineers, technicians and subcontractors.
Plan and coordinate PPM and reactive maintenance activities.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems.
Support equipment including AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, extract systems, chillers, boilers and pumps.
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Support contractors and ensure maintenance priorities are effectively managed.  You To be successful, you’ll bring:
 
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Plumbing as a minimum.
Previous experience within Facilities Management and Maintenance.
Experience supervising or managing a small team of engineers.
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems.
Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
The ability to manage planned and reactive workloads within a busy environment.  What's in it for you?
