Registered Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join the leadership team of a well-established, family-run elderly care provider.

This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in elderly care and a proven track record of leading a care home. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a medium-sized service, maintaining high standards of care while supporting the continued success and development of the home.

The home is stable, has a strong staff retention record and received a Good CQC rating at its most recent inspection.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Manager:

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the care home.
Lead, motivate and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Maintain consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
Ensure effective communication across the home and promote an open and supportive management culture.
Drive occupancy and develop positive relationships with referral sources and external professionals.
Monitor and maintain quality standards across the service.
Support the recruitment, induction, supervision and development of staff.
Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, staff and external professionals.
Work closely with senior management to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
Ensure the home remains compliant with relevant legislation, policies and best practice.
Maintain a positive, professional and accountable culture across the service.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within an elderly care setting.
Proven experience managing and leading a care team.
Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A confident and approachable management style.
Ability to motivate, develop and inspire staff.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A nursing qualification is not essential for this position.
