CAM Programmer - 6 Month Contract

The Role
We're looking for a practical, technically minded CAM Programmer to join a busy manufacturing team on a 6-month contract. Full training is provided, so if you've got a mechanical mindset, are comfortable with computers, and want to develop specialist programming skills, this is a strong opportunity.

What You'll Work On
You'll be trained to program and support a range of automated equipment, including robotic welding, CNC tube bending, CNC routing/drilling machines, automated glueing systems, wall saws, and laminate presses.

What You'll Be Doing

Creating and improving CAM programs from drawings and 3D models
Testing and validating new or updated programs
Supporting production and troubleshooting issues
Working closely with engineering and shopfloor teams
Keeping programs and documentation up to date

What We're Looking For

Good mechanical understanding and interest in automation
Basic IT skills and willingness to learn CAM software
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Manufacturing, CNC, or CAD/CAM experience is a bonus, not essential

Training Provided
You'll receive hands-on training in CAM software, robot programming, CNC setup, and safety best practice.
