PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - LARGE FORMAT PRINT & POS
KENT
Hours:
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) + all breaks paid (37.5 working hours)
Salary: £28,516 per annum (Negotiable though Depending on experience)
Overtime:
Hourly rate + an additional £3 per hour after 40 hours worked in a week
Shift Patterns:
The company operates a rotating shift pattern - they need someone for all 3 shifts. In most cases you will only work one of the following shifts, however during busy periods flexibility would be great to help with holiday cover etc:
6:00am - 2:00pm
2:00pm - 10:00pm
10:00pm - 6:00am (Night shift premium:+ £1.50 per hour)
Holidays: 20 Days + 8 Bank Holiday (4 days need to be saved for Christmas shutdown)
Our client is a leading manufacturer of large format graphics and point-of-sale (POS) display solutions, producing high-quality work for a wide range of well-known retail and commercial brands. They are We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Production Operative to join their busy manufacturing team. The successful candidate will work across various production processes, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards while maintaining quality, efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities /
Skills:
Operate and monitor digital cutting equipment, including Zund and Elitron machines or similar such as Kongsberg digital cutters
Operate large format digital printing equipment, including the Agfa X3 printer.
Operate die-cutting platen machinery when required.
Prepare materials for production.
Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
Support colleagues across different departments as required.
Previous experience within the large format print, signage or POS industry.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Good attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and reliability.
Flexible approach to shift working.
