Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Monkton. As Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to company standards whilst maintaining the highest levels of food hygiene and kitchen organisation.
Actual contracted hours per week: 25
Working Days and Shift Pattern :
Mon-Fri 13:00-18:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh ingredients and food to company standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
- Assist with daily food preparation, including mise en place, cooking, and plating
- Manage stock rotation and maintain accurate inventory records to minimise waste
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Oversee kitchen operations and contribute to a positive, efficient working atmosphere
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards at all times
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and food hygiene knowledge.
