About the Role

Programme Facilitators deliver a range of Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions to people on community orders or licence after prison release. The role involves group and one‑to‑one facilitation, managing group dynamics, addressing challenging behaviour, and supporting rehabilitation to reduce re‑offending. Work is primarily in the evenings, with travel across the Kent, Surrey & Sussex area required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate accredited programmes and structured interventions to support people on probation with a wide range of offence types, including domestic and sexual abuse.
  • Deliver both group and individual work, creating a safe and structured learning environment.
  • Monitor progress, risk and wellbeing throughout the intervention and keep accurate records.
  • Work closely with courts and criminal‑justice agencies to support sentence management.
  • Provide workshops and briefings to probation staff and external stakeholders.
  • Use pro‑social modelling to reinforce positive behaviours.
  • Complete a 6‑month probationary period, including assessment centre participation and training progression.
  • Travel to multiple locations; travel expenses are reimbursable.
Salary and Working Hours

Starting salary: £28,064 pro‑rata for part‑time.
Unsocial hours: 30% for evenings and 50% for Saturdays.
Annual pay progression: through the Competency‑Based Framework (CBF). Travel expenses can be claimed.

Employment Eligibility

Applicants must hold a valid right to work in the UK. Skilled Worker visa holders who obtained the visa before 22 July 2025 are eligible for sponsorship. Applicants who have not held a Skilled Worker visa prior to 22 July 2025 must confirm their right to work in the UK before the offer can be made.
