Support Worker (Children and Young adults)

Various services across Kent, with hybrid working Salary:
Pay increased to £14 per hour PAYE Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm) Contract Type: 3-month block booking with excellent permanent opportunities PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU REQUIRE SPONSORSHIP OR ARE A NON-DRIVER. This role supports their transition into adulthood and independent living. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle as daily travel is required.

Day-to-day of the role:
Manage a caseload of 8x young people within the registered service provision. Provide support and guidance to young people living independently, according to individualised support plans Assist in developing young people’s independent living skills. Promote and encourage positive life choices such as social activities, budgeting, and education. Provide on-call assistance as required to young people, staff, social services, and management.

Ensure all safeguarding issues are addressed and signposted in accordance with company policies and procedures. Attend meetings (virtual weekly and in-person monthly) to share updates with peers and Housing Officers Plan your own working week, with emphasis on keeping accurate and detailed logs of your time with each young person Additional Information:
