Warehouse Operative

A long established manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team.

The role involves working as part of a small team, carrying out order picking and packing within the warehouse, as well as taking responsibility for the dispatch of finished products.

Successful applicants should have good numeracy and literacy skills, basic computer knowledge, and previous warehouse experience. Previous forklift driving experience would be advantageous. A valid forklift licence or certification is not essential, but practical experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

The working hours are 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Thursday, and 08:30 - 16:00 on Fridays.

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate following a successful qualifying period.
