This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $32.00 - $40.00 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $68,000 - $82,000.

The Project Accountant serves as a key member of the accounting team. This position is responsible for assisting with full cycle accounting tasks under the supervision of the Division Controller. The Project Accountant is an essential role in ensuring that all accounting tasks are completed accurately and by established deadlines.

• Process monthly billings and cost projections in conjunction with Project Managers.
• Assist with month end/quarter end close including job cost entries and intercompany transfers.
• Monitor and measure job costs against budget, analyze trends and report variances.
• Assist with monthly revenue recognition using % of completion accounting.
• Set up projects including revenue, cost and forecast budgets by task.
• Contract review for compliance with company policies.
• Maintain project and client records including purchase orders, work orders and change orders.
• Generate job costs reports in various formats and update reports as needed.
• Perform job cost reconciliations for project close out.
• Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports as requested.
• Access financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific projects.
• Analyze and maintain project accounting records.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
