Contract: Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week

Location: Kings Hill-based (Kent) with hybrid working (3 days per week in the Kings Hill office and occasional London office attendance required)

Salary: Up to £44,500 per annum

We’re looking for a talented Executive Assistant to join CAF Bank, part of Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). You will be an integral part of our Bankteam helping ensure our CEO‑CAF Bank and CFSL is fully supported.

Responsibilities

At CAF Bank, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Executive Assistant to CEO‑CAF Bank and CFSL you too will play an integral part in what we do.

  • Support all governance for the CEO with preparation for, and follow‑up from, meetings and their associated issues including information gathering and review, agenda creation, minute taking, drafting emails and facilitating follow‑up actions.
  • Proactive diary management for the CEO, CFO and Chief of Staff including scheduling meetings, organising travel arrangements, responding to enquiries as appropriate, requesting additional information where necessary and bringing important issues to the CEO’s attention.
  • Providing an internal and external point of contact for all matters relating to the CEO.
  • Acting as first point of contact for external callers and visitors and ensuring that the CEO, CFO and Chief of Staff are aware of key issues as they arise.
  • Organising virtual, internal and external staff events across various platforms alongside our Chief of Staff.
  • Planning and organising your own programme of work without supervision, ensuring a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. You will also be required to build productive relationships with other areas of CAF as an organisation and maintain an awareness of current developments across both CAF and the wider charity sector.
  • Management of expenses.
Qualifications

This role is for you if you have experience of working as an EA or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:

  • Previous experience of providing EA/PA support at Executive Level (C‑Suite level)
  • High level of competency in diary & time management, typing & IT skills.
  • Previous experience of working directly with Boards and Senior Management, including minute taking.
  • Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication covering both internal and external affairs.
  • Impeccable integrity & discretion in dealing with often highly sensitive information.
  • Highly organised and self‑motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise as changing needs dictate.
