Monday - Friday 7am - 9am and 3pm-6pm

- Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more, ensuring activities are age-appropriate.
- Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including signing in and out processes.
- Provide refreshments for the children.
- Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children, from picking them up from school to safely delivering them back to their parents or caregivers.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute structured activities that encourage participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more.
- Ensure activities are age and skill-appropriate while prioritizing safety, including the proper use of equipment and space.
- Provide refreshments for the kids while maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
- Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
- Follow Health and Safety protocols and keep relevant documentation, including accident and incident forms, up to date.
- Ensure proper sign-in and sign-out processes for all children in our care.
- Communicate professionally with team members, parents, children, and schools.
- Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit.
- Lead health and safety initiatives and provide first aid where necessary.
- Keep all information and documents related to the children confidential and secure.
- Inspire the team and the children to have fun, stay active, and lead an active lifestyle.
This role requires compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references (one from your most recent employer and one from a childcare setting, if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted on your behalf; please prepare the correct documentation. For more information refer to KCSIE guidelines.
