Overview

Route Driver - Customer Service Support, Kent, WA. Full-time role supporting the Customer Service team with route delivery and customer account management, while training to run a permanent route.

• Provide route service and route sales support to customers; drive a 16 ft. box truck (CDL not required) to customer locations.
• Load and unload inventory; manage accounts and customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests, advise customers on new items to enhance locations, and anticipate customer needs.
• Work with staff at the region’s restaurants, bars and other customers as the go-to person for service delivery.
• Participate in a training period with an existing Customer Service Representative until ready to take the next available route and book of business.
• After training, progress to a Customer Service Representative position with accompanying pay and responsibility increase.

• 2+ years customer service or sales experience
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail
• Read, write, speak English fluently (bi-lingual a plus)
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver s license in good standing (minimal infractions)
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Able to work independently in the field (self-starter)
• Pre-employment and random drug screens for fleet vehicle drivers
• Must pass background check and provide professional references
