Associate Professor (Tenure‑Track), Division of Industrial Design

The Division of Industrial Design in the College of Design and Engineering is seeking highly qualified candidates who can join us as an Associate Professor and make significant contributions to the research and educational excellence of our programmes and university.

The successful candidate will receive a start‑up research grant to undertake research of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to their discipline.

The successful candidate will engage in cross‑disciplinary research and education programmes under the College of Design and Engineering, and will also make significant contributions to postgraduate programmes and PhD supervision.

Candidates are required to have a PhD in a design‑related discipline. They should demonstrate exceptional research achievements or strong potential in their field, along with a proven ability to deliver impactful undergraduate and graduate education. A strong track record in research, teaching, or professional practice is essential, as is the capacity to drive the program’s growth and innovation.
