• To lead the recruitment of faculty candidates on tenure-track and practice track.
• Facilitate the University’s process of mid-term review (MTAR) and promotion & tenure (P&T) of academic staff.
• Supervise the appointments and reappointments of research staff, adjunct staff Visiting Professors and academic visitors.
• Serve as Programme Business Partner for Immunology Translational Research Programme which includes managing the operational and financial matters to support the programme's research priorities.
• Facilitate the other functions for the ITM eg organization of events.

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 8 years working experience in research administration in tertiary institutions, particularly in academic affairs function.
• Highly organized individual and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
• Exhibits initiative, proven effective leadership & team management and ability to work under pressure/deadlines.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to problem solving with growth mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point applications.
• Proven track record with business improvement strategies and implementation.
• Knowledge and experience in research bibliometrics (eg Scopus) will be advantageous.
