SpED Para educator Adaptive Support Center (ASC) – Kent School District

Join the Kent School District as a SpED Para educator in the Adaptive Support Center. This role is a remaining contract position on a 190‑day KAP calendar, with 6.5 hours per day.

  Min $30.11 – Max $37.03 (annualized, spread through August)

• Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 72 college‑level credits from an accredited institution.
• A score of 455 or higher on the ETS Para Pro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
• If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the Para Pro Assessment, you can still apply. If chosen as a finalist you will have the opportunity to take the test prior to formal hire.

• Upon hire, para educators must complete state‑required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team.
