Job Summary

Ezee Fiber is seeking an experienced OSP Engineering Project Manager with a strong background in fiber optic engineering, construction, and project management. This role will support the Construction Engineering team in tracking, reporting, and managing key metrics to deliver hundreds of concurrent fiber projects. Your technical acumen, attention to detail, and process‑driven mindset will be essential as you oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring alignment between cross‑functional teams and timely, cost‑effective delivery.

Functions
  • Manage multiple telecommunications engineering projects covering construction, dark fiber, lit transport, Internet service, and fiber‑to‑the‑home (FTTH).
  • Ensure engineering teams meet project milestones, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate project deliverables with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Conduct weekly project update meetings to communicate progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity within internal tracking and reporting systems.
  • Verify and process project‑related invoices and change orders.
  • Monitor permitting activities for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements and system enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale fiber projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of GIS‑based software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Site Tracker.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Education and Experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunication or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in Outside Plant (ODP) Telecom Engineering or Construction Project Management.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – Preferred
  • Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) – Preferred
  • OSHA 10/30‑Hour Construction Safety Certification – Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) – Preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License – Required
Physical and Environmental Requirements

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices.

The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
