We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
