Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Direct and oversee accounting functions including support and training of staff
• Financial statement preparation including making journal entries and accruals
• Providing updated financial dashboard
• Evaluate, design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls, accounting processes and policies for efficiency, cost effectiveness, and accuracy
• Coordination of annual certified audits including preparation of all schedules for both the financials and tax returns
• Review and analysis of inventory cycle counts
• Supervision of the credit and collection functions
• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Management of payables and collection of receivables
• Upgrading technology and processes for the dept to best practices

Ideal Candidate would have the following experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Experience working with ERP systems
• 4 years plus of professional experience in accounting role. Knowledge of GAAP, accrual basis accounting and financial reporting
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently to resolve problems
• Analytical and strategic thinker
