Supervises: Suite Attendants, Suite Runners, Bartenders, Barback, Buffet Cashier, Caterers

FLAS Status: PT Hourly/Non Exempt

Pay Rate: $25.00 hourly

SUMMARY: ASM Global and Savor, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, have an immediate opening for a Banquet Captain at accesso Sho Ware Center in Kent. This position assists the Food & Beverage Directors with the operation of Front of House catering functions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports Food & Beverage Directors in all activities surrounding guest functions to ensure compliance with contracts and center standards.
• Trains new employees on accesso Sho Ware Center processes and procedures.
• Supervises Front of House catering staff, providing direction and support as needed.
• Ensures a clean and safe working environment.
• Handles guest concerns effectively as they arise.
• Responsible for accurate billing and closeout procedures at the end of functions.
• Anticipates and responds to guest needs and expectations confidently.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous banquet experience required; arena experience preferred.
• Proficient in computer and POS systems.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass background and credit checks.
