Associate Attorney

Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior attorneys and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently
• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
• Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff

• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
• Candidates must have passed the bar exam
• Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
• Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
• Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
• Plaintiff's personal injury prelit and litigation experience
• Experience with arbitrations, settling cases, and negotiating cases
