We are looking for a Director of Operations to join our growing team.

The Director of Operations also oversees existing Paw Doc hospitals to ensure continued success and support of our Core Values: WOW Service, Learning, Respect, Fun, and Do the Right Thing.

This role is ideal for an experienced field operator with:

  • 5+ years of hospital leadership experience, including multi-site leadership
  • Strong analytical experience, including KPIs, P&Ls, and budgeting
  • Experience participating in and supporting new hospital openings
  • Proven experience growing existing locations
  • A passion for teaching, training, and developing hospital leaders and team members
  • Hands‑on experience in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training support teams
  • Success in building relationships across teams

Experience in both general practice and specialty/emergency veterinary hospital environments preferred

Compensation and Benefits Offered:

  • Competitive salary

  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Company‑paid life insurance
  • Employee assistance program
