* Job Purpose:

** Our Supervisor will be responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the day-to-day operational activities for a team to ensure a competitive service advantage is achieved by maintaining a high degree of accuracy and customer service. This position will assist the facility in exceeding their financial and strategic goals by playing an active role on the leadership team. May also participate in the development and execution of business strategies with an understanding of the requirements for an effective distribution support team.

* Job Responsibilities:

* ● Manage on a day-to-day basis the transportation of goods and supplies using existing procedures; review and recommend improvements to procedures to ensure on-time delivery of goods and supplies.  
● Provide operational support by performing a range of route activities using existing systems and protocols.  
● Gather and summarize data and prepare documents and reports using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office.  
● Supervise and lead a team performing routine work.  
● Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.  
● Maintain a culture of safety that follows the organization's Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) policies to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to oneself and others in the workplace. Instruct the team in safe working methods and escalate serious issues as appropriate.  
● Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.  
● Perform additional duties as required.
** Additional Responsibilities &

Qualifications:

* ● Must be available to work afternoon / evening shift hours.  
● Ability to motivate a team, manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt to sudden changes in the workplace environment.  
● PC proficient in Windows based software programs. Familiarity with mid-range and mainframe systems and Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.  
● Experience and thorough understanding of warehouse, delivery, traffic operations and systems within a distribution setting, as well as government regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, Haz Mat, etc.).  
● Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills including but not limited to performance management (employee evaluations, discipline, corrective action, coaching) and conducting interviews.

Salary Range: 71-76K

● Regularly working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp or humid conditions may occur.

** The physical requirements listed below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.  
● Ability to lift, twist and carry up 50 - 75 pounds, manipulate (push and pull) up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack.  
● Walking/Standing - walk throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders. Stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating cutter.  
● Sitting - sit only when driving sit-down material handling equipment.
