Associate Technician - 2nd Shift Walman Optical

Full-Time

Pay Range: $20.09 - $28.36 per hour

• Perform production machine functions in accordance with established procedures.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and prepare lens production process solutions or slurry mixtures.
• Set up and calibrate equipment daily and weekly as directed by area supervisor.
• Conduct basic routine maintenance of assigned equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain work area and common areas in a neat, clean, organized condition.
• Provide training, direction, and technical guidance for less experienced employees.
• Cooperate with other employees and demonstrate a good attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, orientation to detail, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Safety training required due to exposure to hazardous substances.
