Job title - Integration Technician ALocation - Kent, WA Duration - 6+ Months Shift - Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30PM
Job description:
Provides tactical and technical support to Engineering/Production/Manufacturing by performing activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro/mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics, and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
Performs operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, testing, and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
- Integrate, test, verify functionality, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatically actuated cryogenic valves, systems, and components.
- Perform intermediate and/or depot level component maintenance, inspection, and repair.
- Assist engineers in reviewing and developing design concepts, tooling, test hardware, and providing feedback for improvements.
- Review and improve work instructions for complex mechanical systems and installations.
- Work safely with chemical and/or high-pressure hazardous systems.
- Ensure tasks are performed on schedule, safely, and professionally.
- Adapt quickly to changing roles in a high-paced environment.
- Show innovation and accountability in improving processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment for assembly, testing, and maintenance of valve systems.
- Support overtime as needed for integration or testing campaigns.
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, aircraft, R&D, or related industrial/defense fields.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and drive to resolve technical issues.
- Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs. and operate lifting equipment for heavier hardware.
- Strong work ethic, ability to follow directions, and meet expectations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
- Physically able to climb ladders and stairs.
- Support for the work schedule: M-TH, 5am - 3:30pm.
- Good communication skills and proficiency with software systems, databases, and Microsoft Office.
