Role Description

The Production Technician will play a key role in ensuring efficient and smooth manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include equipment assembly, electrical assembly, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and conducting functional tests on machinery and equipment for quality control. This is a contract, on-site role based in Kent, WA. The candidate will work closely with the management team to maintain high operational standards.

Qualifications
  • Build electrical sub-assemblies and perform mechanical/electrical assembly of industrial equipment, pneumatic equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving production and equipment-related issues.
  • Conduct functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Technical background or certification in a related field is a plus.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of hands-on work experience
Preferred Skills And Experience
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience working in an electro‑mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
  • Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with electrical wiring.
  • Experience setting up and running tests and experiments.
