Baker, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Bakers are responsible for baking pastries to fill up the sweet bread and pastry display cases while ensur ing they’re always fresh for customers. They provid e a wide variety of bread for customers as well as bak e cakes for the cake decorating department. Bakers also help in creating new recipes for pastries/bread for special occasions, holidays, or when needed.

• Previousexperiencebaking in a professional environment
• Have experience with general baking supplies (portioning, measuring, weighing, etc.)
• Know how to workwith basic technology if needed (computers, tablets, email, applications, etc.)
• Food Workers Card
• Have reliable commute to work
• Physical: must be able to standand move around during the day,liftand carryup to 30lbs
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, especially around holidays and weekends
• Know how to properly useandmaintainbakery ovens and machineryor willingness to learn

• Maintain an active Food Workers Card*
• Have a positive attitude towards safety, follow all health and safety regulations and/or policies to ensure the well-being of others and self
• Attend work with company provided uniform and have a tidy appearance
• Baking fresh pastries, cake, and more according to company policies
• Fulfill specialized bread orders for customers
• Ensure bread display cases are presentable and clean
• Take inventoryofingredients and supplies to ensure there are always enough for day-to-day operations
• Use provided technology tosubmitsupply orders for the bakery department
• Accurately follow pre-existing company recipes and create new recipes when needed
• Oversee bakery helpersto ensure the Bakery department runs smoothly
