The Food Server role at Marbella Restaurant is a full-time, on-site position located in Kent, WA. In this role, the Food Server greets guests, presents menus, answers questions about food and beverages, and provides suggestions when requested. Daily responsibilities include taking orders accurate, coordinating with the kitchen, serving food and drinks, and checking in with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
The Food Server processes payments, maintains clean and organized tables and service areas, and follows health and safety standards. This position also involves working as part of a team to support other staff members during busy periods and contributing to a respectful, efficient work environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
- Experience or familiarity with food & beverage and food service operations, including basic table service and menu knowledge.
- Basic cooking or food handling knowledge is beneficial, with an understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays or plates safely, and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Prior serving or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow guidance is essential.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and reliable punctuality for scheduled shifts.
