Position Purpose
The Home Depot Pro Customer Service/Sales Team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for professional customers, including contractors, property owners, and commercial clients. The team supports every stage of the Pro customer journey, from efficient order fulfillment and safe loading to expert product recommendations and tailored delivery solutions. Pro Customer Service/Sales Team members build and maintain professional relationships with Pro customers, proactively drive sales by leveraging product knowledge, loyalty programs, and tailored recommendations, while providing outstanding service based on unique project needs.
Pro Customer Service/Sales Team members are expected to meet monthly sales goals and other metrics to drive sales in the store. Whether assisting at the Pro Desk, loading materials, managing deliveries, or offering specialized paint and product knowledge, the team helps ensure every Pro customer’s project is a success. Collaboration is key, with team members working together to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, resolve delivery issues, and communicate Home Depot’s advantages over competitors.
The Pro Customer Service/Sales Team supports store goals by monitoring inventory, executing sales initiatives, and upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety. Bilingual communications skills may be preferred at certain locations; specific language varies based on customer need.
