Cake Decorator

Decorator is responsible for preparing and decorating cakes to maintain well-stocked cake display cases or fulfill personalized orders. They decorate cakes accurately according to customers’ orders and company guideline s. An eye for detail is required to ensure consistency in all decorated cakes.

• Previous experience with decorating cakes in a professional work environment
• Food Workers Card
• Have reliable commute to work
• Physical:
  
  Must be able to standand move around during the day,liftand carryup to 30lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, especially around holidays and weekends
• Know how to properly useandmaintainbakerymachinesor willingness to learn how

• Maintaining an active Food Workers Card*
• Have a positive attitude towards safety, follow all health and safety regulations and/or policies to ensure the well-being of others and self
• Attend work with company provided uniform and have a tidy appearance
• Building and preparing cakes according to company policies
• Fulfill special cake orders to the specifications of the client
• Decorating cakes to fill display cases ensuring it is always filled
• Must be able to replicatepreviouscompany designs accurately and bring their own creativity to inspire new designsif needed
• Using provided technology to check orders, order information,andmore
• Communicate with managers and coworkersregardingcake orders when needed
• Prepare andmaintainicing, cream, and other cake decorating ingredients
• Checkinventoryofingredients and cake decorating supplies to ensure there isenough for day-to-day operations, report to manager if anything is needed
