Job SummaryAs a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales, profits, and relationships with potential clients. The candidate will focus on selling clients the complete EMCOR Service operations, maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy solution package.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Develop sales presentations, prospecting for new accounts and providing clients with product services/information.
- Maintain client pricing and payments, A/R management, client correspondence, P/L reports, quality assurance (QA) support, and industry and trade show participation.
- Establish relationships with prospective clients.
- Seek out and research prospective projects through phone calls, visits, conferences, internet, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Work with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors to review and improve account programs.
- Manage through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume and profitability.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations.
- Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using standard templates and pricing models.
- Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration (preferred).
- 8+ years of sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation.
- Relevant technical experience, preferably in Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance.
- Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
- Financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
- Experience developing technical and cost proposals.
- Independent decision-making required.
- Computer skills using MS Office and strong Excel skills required.
