Inside Sales Specialist

We are recruiting for a direct-hire Inside Sales Specialist opportunity in Kent, WA, supporting customers in an industrial, construction products, building materials, or wholesale distribution environment. This role is ideal for a customer-focused inside sales professional who knows how to manage business accounts, prepare quotes, process orders, solve problems, and keep customers informed from initial request through delivery. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships while working closely with warehouse, purchasing, shipping, and outside sales teams.

• Support B2B customers by responding to inquiries, understanding needs, and recommending appropriate products or solutions.
• Prepare quotes, enter and process customer orders, and follow up to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Research products, pricing, availability, inventory, and order status using ERP, CRM, or order-management systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, shipping, and outside sales teams to keep orders moving from quote through delivery.
• Resolve customer issues related to orders, deliveries, product questions, backorders, or discrepancies.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and professional support.

• Salary range: $54,080 to $64,000 per year.

• Manage customer quotes, order entry, and order follow-up for B2B accounts.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with internal teams including warehouse, purchasing, shipping, and outside sales.
• Research products, inventory, availability, and customer account details to support accurate service.
• Resolve customer service issues while maintaining strong account relationships.
• 3 to 5 years of inside sales, customer account, or B2B customer service experience.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, building materials, construction products, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Ability to work with contractors, commercial customers, or business accounts.
• Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer follow-up.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or order-management systems.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to learn products and make it easy for customers to do business.

• Prior experience supporting construction, contractor, building materials, industrial, or manufacturing customers.
• Strong product and inventory research skills.
• Experience coordinating with warehouse, shipping, purchasing, and outside sales teams.
• Ability to develop long-term customer relationships and serve as a dependable account resource.
