The HVAC Installer is responsible for the installation and replacement of residential heating and cooling systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers
- Set, test, braze, evacuate, and charge line sets
- Perform basic low and high-voltage wiring connections
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Ability to braze line sets and properly evacuate and charge systems
- Comfortable completing basic electrical connections on HVAC equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and in tight spaces
- Ability to work in crawl spaces and attics for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
