Electronics Repair & Soldering Technician (Part-Time)

Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Description:

Trenchless Distribution is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in electronics repair, circuit board soldering, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with circuit boards, wiring, connectors, and small electronic components. This position primarily involves electronics troubleshooting, soldering, and equipment repairs, along with light warehouse duties and occasional local deliveries.

We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and is willing to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.

Primary Responsibilities – Electronics & Repair

• Perform soldering and desoldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs), wires, connectors, and electronic components
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, wiring, and circuit boards
• Assist with repairs and maintenance of inspection cameras, electronic cutting equipment, cables, and related equipment
• Test electronic components and repaired equipment
• Use soldering stations, multimeters, and other basic diagnostic tools
• Assist with computer-related diagnostics and equipment software as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized repair workspace

Additional Responsibilities – Light Warehouse & Deliveries

• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory
• Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed
• Make occasional local customer deliveries and pickups
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Assist with other general warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with soldering and electronic circuit board repair strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of electronics, wiring, and electrical components
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment
• Familiarity with soldering tools, multimeters, and basic testing equipment
• Comfortable working with computers and electronic devices
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Ability to safely lift and move 60+ lbs. when required
• Valid driver's license for occasional local deliveries
• Dependable, organized, and willing to assist with light warehouse duties

Experience with PCB repair, computer hardware repair, electronic diagnostics, or small equipment repair is a plus. Formal education or certification is not required if you have the necessary hands-on experience.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time position
• $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
• On-site in Kent, Washington
