Our goal for Boltline by Stoke Space, the commercial software platform that helps advanced hardware manufacturing teams integrate, track, iterate, build, and test efficiently.

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Development Engineer on the Boltline by Stoke Space team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end features—from intuitive front‑end interfaces to reliable, performant back‑end systems. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and hardware teams to create tools that accelerate innovation in advanced hardware development. • Design and develop end-to-end features across the full stack using React, Type Script, Graph
  
  QL, and Postgres
• Architect and optimize back‑end data models, APIs, and services for performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Build and refine user interfaces that make complex hardware manufacturing workflows simple and intuitive
• Implement and maintain a strong automated testing culture with comprehensive unit, integration, and end‑to‑end coverage
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions across the Boltline platform
• Partner with product and hardware teams to translate user needs into scalable, elegant software solutions
• Contribute to operational excellence by improving CI/CD pipelines, observability, and on‑call reliability
• Mentor and guide mid‑through internship‑level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design collaboration

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field / experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building production web applications
• Deep expertise in full stack Type Script
• Proficiency with React, Graph
  
  QL, Typescript and Postgres
• Experience designing and maintaining back‑end services (Node.js, Next.js, or similar frameworks)
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and experience with modern testing frameworks
• Proven ability to own features from concept through deployment and iteration
• Prior on‑call/incident response participation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills within cross‑functional teams
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with a focus on delivering impact

• Experience with Next.js, Apollo (Client/Server), Hasura or similar
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and AWS infrastructure
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures using Temporal, Kafka, or similar
• Hands‑on experience improving CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Circle
  
  CI, or similar)
• Exposure to manufacturing, aerospace, or complex physical systems
• Interest in aerospace/manufacturing workflows
