Embedded Software Engineer — C​/C++, Linux

Position: Contract Embedded Software Engineer — C/C++, Linux

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Position Responsibilities

Leads code generation for highly embedded systems

Leads development of broad, open-architecture approach

Works with multi-disciplinary team to rapidly prototype hardware solutions

Responsible for developing code and insuring proper execution on target processors

Independently performs work scope

Required Skills

5+ years embedded programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Linux and/or Peta Linux

Experience with hardware-software integration

Embedded C++ is the top skill

Preferred Skills



Experience with and knowledge of aerospace systems and/or electrical systems

Experience with CMake

Highly motivated self-starter capable of executing as part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team

Pay Rate Range

103 - 108 USD hourly
