NON-CDL Route Driver — Kent, WA (Home Every Night, Weekends Off)

pay range

$25.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Primary Duties

• Plan your daily delivery route.
• Review customer orders and load onto truck to match your delivery route.
• Visit customer locations, unload stock and place in an appropriate location.
• Follow proper safety procedures.

Secondary Duties

• Assist warehouse teams in other areas like receiving when possible.
• Operate a forklift, cherry picker and electric pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record required.
• Experience driving a box truck or van.
• Must be 21+.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Adaptable to changes such as routes or schedules, read and follow GPS or road map.
• Customer service orientation; good public relations skills.
• Can work without direct supervision.
• Having warehouse knowledge is preferred.
• Meet company and regulatory driving record requirements.
• Move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse, customer location and truck cab environments.
• Subject to seasonal weather and local traffic conditions.
• Overtime may be available.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds with team lift on an occasional basis.
