Class A CDL Driver

THE JOB

Tidewater Environmental Services, Inc – Kent location is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to join our team as we support the Pacific Northwest’s industrial and marine communities. Class A Drivers are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous products to specified destinations. Our fleet includes tractor/trailer combinations, roll-off (both straight truck and trailer), and wet/dry vac trucks (tankers and guzzlers).

• $2,000 signing bonus

• Position Wages $31.92 or $35.74 / hourly (depending on experience)
  • Up to an additional $3.50 hourly, based on endorsements and on-the-job experience

• A valid Class A driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. No set schedule.
• Maintains appropriate communication via cell phone, text, email, and face-to-face with employees and customers
• Ability to travel to job sites that include out-of-town work as required.
• Meet medical clearance criteria and be able to wear a respirator (no facial hair).
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job site location (i.e. earplugs, protective eyewear, goggles, life vest, face shield, crush‑resistant footwear and hard hat).
• Obtain and maintain a valid TWIC Card in accordance with Department of Homeland Security and TSA guidelines within 15 days of hire date.
• All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre‑employment physical, DOT drug screen, criminal background check, and driving record check.
