Position Overview

Warehouse Clerk – Kent, WA

Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm). Land 'N' Sea Distributing, Inc. is a full‑service, wholesale‑only distributor serving the Marine and RV industries for over 50 years. The role supports inventory handling, shipping, and receiving operations across our warehouses and ensures fast, efficient delivery throughout the US and Canada.

• Operate a forklift or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse.
• Comply with all quality standards and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning equipment and performing safety inspections.

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship parts of various sizes to support quick turnaround of orders.
• Remove the correct parts from the shelf, identify part numbers, and ensure proper quantities.
• Determine methods of shipment and pack accordingly.
• Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents for conformance to specifications.

• Receive and unpack merchandise and supplies, verifying delivery accuracy.
• Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Confirm proper location of merchandise and ensure production area organization and cleanliness.
• Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
• Prior forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.

The employee frequently stands, walks, bends, stoops, balances, and uses arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move materials. Work surfaces include concrete and/or metal grating. Lifting up to 50 lb occasionally and 20 lb frequently is required. Exposure to high, precarious places, hot or cold temperatures, and dust may occur.

The anticipated starting pay range is $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. Base pay varies based on qualifications and business needs.
