Maintenance Technician

Join us as a Maintenance Technician at Precision Strip, Inc. to keep our Kenton, OH metal‑processing plant running smoothly.

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, keeping detailed records.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and root‑cause unplanned maintenance issues, making necessary adjustments.
• Assist with installation, assembly, and improvement of new equipment and facility upgrades.

• Work Monday–Thursday, 5 pm–5 am, with availability for emergency repairs outside these hours.
• Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical drawings.
• Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulics (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders) and electrical systems (single–phase, DC, PLC, three–phase).
• Experience with fabrication and welding techniques.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Strong sense of urgency and professionalism in decision‑making.
• `Continuous improvement mindset; proactive problem‑solving.
• Prior manufacturing maintenance experience with technical school training or related trade certification preferred.
