Overview

CRNA - Hardin Memorial role at Ohio Health

32 Hour per week, M-Thursday, No call. On-site anesthesia services supervised by a physician as required by Ohio law.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and document preanesthetic assessment and evaluation.
  • Provide general, regional, local and sedation coverage.
  • Select, obtain and administer anesthetics and other drugs.
  • Facilitate emergency and recovery from anesthesia.
  • Provide postanesthesia care.
  • Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities.
  • Respond to emergency situations.
  • Provide on-call coverage as required by the department.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree (Required). Licensure and certifications: NBCRNA, CRNA, RN – Ohio Board of Nursing. Membership in good standing with professional boards as applicable.

Education and Certification Details

Graduate from an approved school of nursing and hold current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse. Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Complete the AANA Certification examination. Comply with biennial re-certification criteria as defined by AANA, including current licensure, active practice as a CRNA, and ongoing continuing education and verification requirements.
